The MRA Marg police have registered a case of cheating and impersonation against an unidentified accused, posing as the chairman of the Tata Group, sent an email to his subordinates demanding them to transfer $4,500 to an account for a project.

The case was registered on Thursday after an impostor posing as Cyrus Mistry mailed five employees from the finance department of the organisation.
