UPPSC job notification: Apply for 361 RO, ARO posts, check details here

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) issued a notification (ADVT NO : A-3/E-1/2016) on Tuesday inviting online applications from candidates to fill up 361 vacancies for the posts of review officers (RO), assistant review officers (ARO) and some other posts (General recruitment) .

Candidates can check the notification on the UPPSC’s ’. The new page that opens has separate links for applying, viewing the advertisement and user instructions.

Candidates should read the advertisement and user instructions carefully before applying.

Online application process

The application process has three stages: 1) Registration 2) Fee deposition 3) Filling and submission of application form.

Candidates who registered themselves earlier with the UPPSC do not need to fill their details again. They will have to select the correct option and provide their old registration number or personal details like name, date of birth, mobile number, etc and search for their registration form containing the details already provided by them.

After the completion of the first stage, candidates are required to pay the fees. This must be done within the stipulated time otherwise, the application of the candidate will not be accepted and the fees paid by him won’t be refunded.

The candidates can pay the fee by clicking on the link provided saying ‘click here to proceed for payment’. The fee can be paid through net banking, cards and other payment modes provided.

On successful payment, “Payment Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR)” will be displayed along with the detail of fee deposition. Candidates must take a print by clicking on “Print Payment Receipt”.

The third stage of application is the final submission of the application form. Candidates should fill the details carefully and recheck as once the form is submitted they will not be allowed to make any change nor the fees paid by them will be refunded.

In case, a candidate wants to correct a detail in their submitted applications, they can submit a fresh application online with the desired corrections along with prescribed fees within the last date notified in the advertisement.

Eligibility

Educational qualification

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of online application. This should be mentioned in the relevant column in the application form.

For some posts, specific educational qualifications have been prescribed. The details of which can be seen in the notification.

Note: In case of specific educational qualification posts, candidates must give their options clearly.

Age

General candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 on July 1, 2016, ie they must not have been born earlier than July 2, 1976, and not later than July 1, 1995.

To check age relaxation for the other category and eligibility conditions like marital status etc, candidates must go through the advertisement.

Selection process

The commission will conduct a preliminary examination and the main examination. The final selection of a candidate for the post will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the main examination.

Fee structure

The unreserved (general) and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates need to pay Rs 125, which includes exam fees of Rs 100 and online processing fees of Rs 25. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates need to pay Rs 65, which includes exam fees of Rs 40 and online processing fees of Rs 25.

Physically challenged candidates need to pay only the online processing fees of Rs 25. Please check the advertisement for other category candidates.
