The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is expected to release the 2025 high school or Class 10 board exam results in April or May. Students who appeared in the examination this year will be able to check and download their results from the official websites at results.upmsp.edu.in and from upresults.nic.in once the board announces them.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is expected to announce the Class 10 board exam results through a press conference, as it did last year.
In 2024, the UPMSP declared the matriculation results at a press conference conducted by board officials at the Prayagraj headquarters. Along with the results, the board also shared other information such as pass percentage, gender-wise performance, toppers’ list, number of students who passed, and more.
Last year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 was 89.55, a marginal dip from the 2023 results, when it was 89.78. In 2022, the pass percentage for the UP Board Class 10 exam was 88.18.
Girls outperformed boys, securing an overall pass percentage of 93.40 per cent, whereas boys secured 86.05 per cent. Additionally, 24,55,041 regular candidates passed the exams. Prachi Nigam topped the Class 10 final exam last year, securing 591 out of 600 marks, whereas Deepika Sonkar of Fatehpur stood second, securing 590 out of 600 marks.
This year, 27,40,151 students are appearing for the high school final examinations.The Class 10 board examinations were conducted in two shifts from 24 February to March 12, 2025. The first shift started at 8:30 AM and continued until 11:45 AM, while the second shift began at 2:00 PM and concluded at 5:15 PM.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the Class 10 board examination, a Special Task Force (STF) and local intelligence units monitored the examination centres to prevent malpractice. Furthermore, each exam room was equipped with two CCTV cameras with voice recorders, and 306 centres across 17 districts were classified as "highly sensitive.”
