UP Board 12th Result 2025: UPMSP Class 12th Result

The UP Class 12 board examinations 2025 results are expected to be declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad in April or May, along with the Class 10 board examination results. When declared, students who appeared in the examination this year can check and download their results from the official website at results.upmsp.edu.in. Alternatively, they can download the results from upresults.nic.in.

A total of 26,98,446 intermediate students appeared for the UPMSP Class 12 board examinations this year. The examination was conducted in two shifts from 24 February to March 12, 2025. The first shift started at 8:30 AM and continued until 11:45 AM, while the second shift began at 2:00 PM and concluded at 5:15 PM.

Speaking about the results, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad declared the Class 12 board examination results in 2024 through a press conference held at the Prayagraj headquarters. Board officials also shared other information, such as pass percentage, gender-wise performance, toppers’ list, number of students who passed, and more, along with the intermediate results.

A total of 25,77,997 candidates registered for the intermediate board examination in the state last year, which was conducted from 22 February to March 9, 2024, at various examination centres in the state.

The overall pass percentage of Class 12 board results in 2024 was recorded at 82.60 per cent. The pass percentage of boys was 77.78 per cent, and that of girls was 88.42 per cent, which indicated that girls outperformed boys in the Class 12 board examinations last year.

The first spot was secured by Shubham Verma of Sitapur, who topped the UP 12th examination with a score of 489 out of 500. The second spot was jointly shared by Vishu Chaudhary, Kajal Singh Amroha, Raj Verma, Kashish Maurya, Charli Gupta, and Sujata Pandey, who scored 488 out of 500.

Whereas Sheetal Verma, Kashish Yadav, Aaditya Kumar Yadav, Anksha Vishvakarma, Palak Singh secured third position, scoring 487 out of 500.

It may be mentioned here that this year, to prevent malpractice, the exam centres were monitored by the Special Task Force (STF) and local intelligence units. Additionally, each exam room was equipped with two CCTV cameras with voice recorders, and 306 centres across 17 districts were classified as "highly sensitive."
