UP Board Results 2018: 75.16% clear Class 10 and 72.43% Class 12 board exam
There were 664,000 candidates, including 366,000 for class 10 and 298,000 for class 12, who registered for the exams conducted by the UP Board High School from February 6 to March 12.
UP Board Officials said 75.16% students were successful in high school or Class 10 and 72.43% in intermediate or Class 12 examinations as the Uttar Pradesh Board 2018 result were declared on Sunday.

There were 664,000 candidates, including 366,000 for high school and 298,000 for intermediate exams, who registered for the exams conducted by the UP Board High School from February 6 to March 12.
However, more than 11,27,800 students dropped out of the exams due to strict anti-copying measures and 1,146 were caught using unfair means. Police lodged 136 complaints against students, invigilators and centre superintendents for indulging in unfair means.
The exams were held under closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras for the first time this year and state police’s special task force was also roped in to check copying.
Evaluation of over 5,00,00,000 answer sheets began on March 17 at 248 centres in the state by around 140,000 teachers under CCTV surveillance, with personnel of the special task force and Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) keeping a watch in different parts of the state.
In 2017, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 was 81.18% and girls did better with 86.50%, clearing the exam against 76.75% boys. In Class 12, 82.62% students were declared successful and girl outshined boys in the exam with a pass percentage of 88.80 as compared to 77.16 for boys.
