NEET 2016 results: Kota institute students bag top 3 ranks
Students of Kota’s Allen Career Institute grabbed top 3 AIR Ranks in NEET UG 2016 results declared on Tuesday. Het Shah from Allen Career Institute has remained topper in NEET UG.
Het Shah of Allen Career Institute in Kota has topped the NEET UG Examination, the results for which were declared on Tuesday. The second and third positions were grabbed by students of the same institute as well.

Het Shah, 18, from Gujarat, scored 685 out of 720 marks to grab the All India Rank (AIR) 1. Ekansh Goyal, 18, from Odisha and Nikhil Bajiya, 17, from Rajasthan bagged AIR 2 and 3 respectively. All three top rankers were classroom coaching students for NEET at the Kota branch of Allen Career Institute.
About 600,000 aspirants had taken NEET-1 on May 1 and around 475,000 aspirants appeared for NEET-2 on July 24 this year.

Allen Career Institute, Kota, director Brajesh Maheshwari said the three toppers had also grabbed top ranks in the merit of Top 10 of AIIMS Examination 2016, results for which were declared a few months ago.
“While Het Shah had grabbed AIR 4 in AIIMS, Ekansh had secured AIR 9 and Nikhil Bajiya had clinched AIR 2 in AIIMS,” he said.
He said the results were still being compiled but there were three more students of Allen Career Institute in the Top 10, taking the total number of students from the institute in the NEET merit list to six. The other likely toppers are Duti Shah and Jatnoor Kaur from the distance learning programme, and Utkarsh Anand from classroom coaching of Allen. Duti, Jatnoor and Utkarsh secured AIR 6, 7 and 10 respectively.
“It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that students of Allen Career Institute have not only shown their prowess in the prestigious engineering entrance examination of JEE Advanced 2016 but also in medical entrance examination called NEET UG 2016,” he said.
