Here are the updates on the UP Board results:
3:20 pm: No student from Barabanki could find a place in the merit list of top 5 in the UP Board Class 12 or intermediate examination 2017, the result of which was declared on Friday, in sharp contrast to the previous years’ trend when examinees from the district notched the top ranks almost every year.
3:00 pm: The percentage of students in Uttar Pradesh who cleared the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations witnessed a decline as compared to last year.

12:02 pm: Evaluation of the Board’s 4.6 crore answer sheets commenced from April 27 onwards at 253 evaluation centres in the state by 1.37 lakh teachers.
This year, 513 government inter colleges besides 3,692 aided secondary institutions and 6,208 non-aided secondary institutions in the state were the designated examination centres.
11am: A significant 60,61,034 candidates registered for the high school and intermediate examinations this year. They included 34,04,715 examinees for Class 10 and 26,56,319 for Class 12.
