Jharkhand board Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 20

The Jharkhand Academic Council’s (JAC) Class 10 and Class 12 (science and commerce) results are expected on May 20 at around 3pm.

The results can be checked on the official website.

The JAC Class 10 and Class 12 results have been delayed because of an indefinite strike called by contractual workers demanding regularisation of jobs.

Earlier, JAC was scheduled to declare its Class 12 results on May 10 but deferred it to May 15 citing a lack of manpower.

This year Class 10 exams were taken by around 4.75 lakh students at 932 centres and 3.21 lakh students wrote the Class 12 exams in 459 centres. Both the examinations began on February 17.

In 2015, Jharkhand was the first state to declare the board results. Around 4.5 lakh Class 10 students and three lakh Class 12 students took the exams last year.

The CISCE has already declared its ICSE and ISC results.
