JEE Main Session 1 Result 2022 Live: Here's how to check results

JEE Main session 1 results have been released. It can be checked on jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in and nta.ac.in.

Once released, JEE Main session 1 results can be checked on jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in and nta.ac.in. 

Still no update on JEE Mains session 1 results!

As lakhs of students wait, NTA is yet to publish scorecards on the JEE Main website. 

1. Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in. 
2. On the homepage, click on the JEE Main 2022 session 1 result link.
3. Enter application number, password or any other required information.
4. Submit and view scores.

Tie between candidates in paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be resolved in the following manner in descending order:

1. NTA score in Mathematics, followed by

2. NTA score in Physics

3. NTA score in Chemistry

4. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects

5. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics

6. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics

7. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry

8. The candidate older in Age followed by

9. Application Number in ascending order

A similar method will be used for JEE Main paper 2.

In the ‘provisional’ final answer key, NTA has dropped some questions asked in different shifts during JEE Main session 1. As per NTA rule, in such a situation, students' results will be calculated considering the remaining questions. Read in detail here. 

NTA will conduct JEE Main session 2 exams for both paper 1 and paper 2 on July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30.

JEE Mains session 1 results expected soon, as early as today as per some reports, but there is no official announcement yet.

Candidates who qualify in JEE Main and want to take admission at NITs, IIITs and other central government funded institutions will have to apply for counselling on josaa.nic.in.

There is no official update yet on JEE Mains result date and time. Candidates are advised to visit the NTA website, jeemain.nta.nic.in regularly. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has brought back the age factor as one of the criteria for breaking ties in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022. Further, if two candidates score the same marks or percentile in the entrance examinations and their ties cannot be resolved using other methods, the one who applied for the exam before will be given priority in the merit list. NTA releases cut-off scores for different categories along with JEE Main results. However, candidates will have to wait till session 2 results to know JEE Main 2022 cut-off scores.

4. Submit and view scorecard
5. Take a printout for future need

Results of first session of JEE Main 2022 session 1 is awaited on NTA websites. An official confirmation on JEE Mains result date and time is also awaited.

Key in your  login details and click on submit.

Fill in the application form and make the payment of the application fees.

Download and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Registration for JEE Main Session 2 will end today, July 9, 2022. Candidates should fill out the application as soon as possible.

Session 1: June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29

Session 2: July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30

JEE Main 2022 session 1, paper 1 (BE/BTech) and paper 2 (BArch/Bplanning) exams took place from June 23 to 29, 2022.

Candidates can check the JEE Mains Session 1 result through their credentials, application number, date of birth and security pin.

Click on JEE Main 2022 Session 2 link available on the home page.

Enter the login details and click on submit.

Fill in the application form and make the payment of the application fees.

Once done, click on submit.

Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
