Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Vibha Swaminathan have topped with 100% marks.
Students who have appeared in the exam, can check their results on the official website of CISCE at cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
The pass percentage of candidates who appeared in the ICSE 2019 exam was 98.54%. It is up by .03% and that of ISC students was 96.52%, up by .031%, said Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) addressing the media on Tuesday.
In ICSE, two students jointly share the first rank, 10 students share second rank and 24 students are placed in third rank.
Juhi Rupesh Kajaria of Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu, Mumbai and Manhar Bansal of Little Flower Convent School, Muktsar jointly scored 99.60% to share the first rank in the ICSE examination.
In ISC, two students share first rank with 100 percent marks, 16 candidates jointly share second position and 36 candidates are placed in third rank.
Dewang Kumar Agarwal of La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata of Science Stream and Vibha Swaminathan of Mallya Aditi International School, Bengaluru of Humanities, both scored 100%.
Girls performed marginally better than boys in the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations.
In ICSE, girls have done better than boys. The pass percentage of girls was 99.05% while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 98.12%.
In ISC too, girls have achieved a pass percentage of 97.84%, boys have achieved a pass percentage of 95.40%.
Steps to check ISC results on the official results website:
1) Visit the official results website of CISCE
2) Select the course ISC
3) Enter you UID, Index number and Captcha
4) Click on show result
5) Result will be displayed
6) You can also print results for future reference
Students who have taken the exam can also access their results through SMS.
Steps to receive ISC results through SMS:
ISC: To receive your ISC results through SMS, type your unique Id in the new message box in the following manner: ISC 1234567 (your 7 digit unique id) and send it to 09248082883. Your result will be displayed.
The results of the ISC 2019 examination will be made available through the CAREERS portal of the council, the website of the council and through SMS. The schools can access the results by logging into careers portal of the council using the principal’s login id and password.

The council has made provisions for the candidates to apply for rechecking directly through the council’s website. In addition, the provision of applying for rechecking by the head of schools through the career portal is also available.
The online module for submitting the requests for recheck of the results will remain open for only 7 days from the day of declaration of results. The council will make the digitally signed copies of the statement of marks and pass certificate available for the candidates through DigiLocker facility.
The candidates who took the ICSE examination will also be provided with digitally signed copies of the migration certificate. The digitally signed document will be available after 48 hours of the publication of results.
The Indian Certificate Secondary Education (ICSE) exams were held between February 22 and March 25 while the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams began on February 4 and concluded on March 25.
