UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: Haryana's Harshita Goyal and Maharashtra's Dongre Archit Parag got the second and third ranks respectively.

Goyal (24) did her post-graduation in chartered accountancy and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. In her third attempt, she qualified the exam with political science and international relations as her optional subjects.

She lives in Gujarat's Vadodara, but her home state is Haryana. Goyal's hobbies include volunteering at the Believe Foundation NGO and acrylic painting.

Parag is an engineer. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree (in electrical and electronics engineering) from the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Tamil Nadu. Parag secured the third position in the civil services exam with philosophy as his optional subject.

A native of Pune, 26-year-old Parag cleared the exam in his third attempt and his hobbies include practising meditation, playing squash and weight training.

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: Civil services examination topper Shakti cleared the prestigious exam in her fifth attempt with political science and international relations as her optional subjects.

A native of Naini in Uttar Pradesh, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Allahabad.

Dubey (28) also has a Master of Science degree from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Her interest includes "dissertation work on nanoparticle-based delivery of SI-RNA for cancer therapy" and "writing poems and quotes", according to her details available with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has topped the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

(CSE) 2024, securing All India Rank 1. She hails from Someshwar Nagar colony of Naini, Prayagraj, but lives in Delhi with her sister, preparing for the Civil Services exam.

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: Hemant, a resident of Kusurupa situated under Rajpur block of Buxar has cracked UPSC Civil Services examination, the results of which were declared on Tuesday, in his first attempt, claimed his father Om Prakash Mishra, APO (assistant program officer) in education department at Bhabua (Kaimur district).

Hemant has secured 13 th rank in country.

Bajrangi Mishra, uncle of Hemant said that he belongs to a middle-class family. His mother is teacher in a private school. He said Hemant was genius in study. He cracked UPPCS in 2023 and got the post of DySP. " In 2024, he again cracked UPPCS and got post of SDM and at present is undergoing trainee SDM at Mirzapur (UP)," said his uncle.

Bajrangi said that 25-year-old Hemant also cracked BPSC in 2024 and got post of election officer.

Hemant's initial schooling was done at Buxar in a private school. He did his plus two from DAV BSEB school, Patna and graduation from Jamia Millia Islamia and post graduate in geography from JNU.

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: In her third attempt, Ayushi Bansal from Gwalior secured seventh rank in the final result of UPSC Civil Service Exam 2024, result of which was announced on Tuesday.

More than 30 candidates from Madhya Pradesh have been selected in UPSC 2024.

An engineering graduate Ayushi had secured 97th rank in UPSC-2023 and 188th rank in 2022.

Born and brough up in Gwalior, Ayushi shifted to Delhi for the preparation of civil services exam after leaving a job of a Multi-National Company.

Ayushi's father died when she was 9 years old. Ayushi said her dream come true today by securing place in top 10 merit list.

Another resident of Gwalior Madhav Agarwal, came second in MP and secured 16th rank in India. Agrawal had topped in Charted Accountant exam in 2019.

All India Railway Service officer Romil Dwivedi from Rewa secured 27th rank. Romil is the son of joint commissioner KK Dwivedi. A resident of Garoth in Mandsaur district, Rishabh Chaudhary, secured 28th rank. Chaudhary prepared for the examination online.

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: For Ritika Rath of Odisha, who secured 48th rank in the civil services exam, it was third time lucky.

“To get this rank is grateful. It was my third attempt. Last year could not get any rank but cracked this year,” said the 24-whose father is a retired Indian Forest Service officer. Rath, who hails from Bhubaneswar and completed her 11th and 12th education from Delhi and did her graduation in management from IIM Indore, said for last three years she was slogging.

“I had got a job and started preparations for UPSC after quitting my job. My work experience gave me confidence and my optional subject was also my strength including my hobbies I had taken coaching during my second attempt. This time I had prepared a schedule for studies by prioritising important things. This helped me to allocate time properly. I used to wake up at 5 am and prepare for the UPSC. During the interview rounds, I was asked broad questions including work experience and optional subjects like Philosophy," she said.

Unlike many girls of her age, Ritika was miles away from social media and instead kept in touch with her friends by meeting them.

She said her father Shishir Ratho, former principal chief conservator of forests of Odisha, was the source of inspiration. “I have seen my father work hard and that inspired me,” she said. “I want to become someone who is approachable to people. I will try to fulfil the goals of the government.”

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 LIVE: The commission has recommended 1,009 candidates for appointment based on their performance in the mains examination (written test and personal interview). Of them, 335 are from the general category, 109 from EWS, 160 from SC, and 87 are from ST.

UPSC CSE Result 2025 OUT Live: The UPSC CSE Prelims examination 2024 was conducted on June 16 last year. A total of 9,92,599 candidates applied for this examination, out of which 5,83,213 candidates appeared.

A total of 14,627 candidates qualified to appear in the written (main) examination, which was held in September 2024. Out of these, 2,845 candidates qualified for the personality test or interview, which were held between January 7 and April 17 this year.

Of them, 1,009 candidates – 725 men and 284 women – have been recommended by the UPSC for appointment to various services.

UPSC CSE Result 2025 OUT Live: Shah Margi Chirag, who has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, secured the fourth rank with sociology as her optional subject.

Aakash Garg, who has a Bachelor of Technology degree in computer science and has done engineering from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, got the fifth rank with sociology as his optional subject.
