MPBSE 10th, 12th results 2019: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on Wednesday, May 15.

According to MPBSE, the pass percentage of students in the Class 10 MP board exams is 61.32%. The girls outshined boys with pass percentage of 63.69%, while pass percentage of boys is 59.15%. In the merit list, there are 69 girls and 75 boys found a place.

In 2018, 66.54% students had cleared the exam while only 49.9% cleared in 2017. In Class 10th, there are two toppers Gagan Dixit and Ayushman Tamrakar with 499 marks out of 500.

The pass percentage of MP Board Class 12 exam is 72.37%. The pass percentage of girls is 76.31% while of boys it is 68.94%.

Shreejan Shrivastava in science (Biology), Arya Jain in Science (mathematics), Vivek Gupta in commerce and Drishti Sanodiya in arts stream became toppers in their respective stream. Arya Jain and Vivek Gupta of commerce stream emerged as over all topper with 486 marks out of 500.

Last year, the pass percentage of Class 12 was 68 % while in 2017 it was 67.8.

The result of as many 18.66 lakh students who appeared in the exam were announced on Wednesday. About 7.32 lakh appeared in class 12 exam conducted from March 2 to April 12 while 11.32 lakh students took the Class 10 exam conducted from March 1 to March 27.

The students of class 12 got 14 bonus marks for mistake in an instruction in English exam paper, while Class 10 students got 15 bonus marks for similar kind of mistake in mathematics exam paper, said Ajay Gangwar, secretary MPBSE.

The cheating cases in MP also came down significantly only 544 cheating cases of students were reported from class 12 exam and 754 reported of Class 10 exam.
