IGNOU Convocation 2024 Live Updates: Bharat awaits your contributions, says VP Jagdeep Dhankar to graduating students

IGNOU graduates of the 37th convocation ceremony can find their academic certificates on DigiLocker.

Addressing students at the 37th Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in New Delhi, the Vice-President told students that they were graduating into an India that had shaken off the label of the “sleeping giant”.

“I appeal to young minds to not be carried by competitive mechanisms, obsession to hold a government position. If opportunities are not available, you just have to look and explore, and you will be extremely successful,” said VP Jagdeep Dhankar.

“ We should now engage in exploring a vast landscape of possibilities unburdened by the shackles of the narrow definition of success,” said the VP in his convocation address.

“You are Bharat as a matter of fact. You are Bharat of the present and you will share Bharat what it will be in 2047. You will do it because you alone can do it. You are the most significant stakeholders,” says VP Jagdeep Dhankar in his convocation address.

“Bharat eagerly awaits your contributions, your perspectives and your new ideas. Believe in yourself,” says VP Jagdeep Dhankar.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is holding its 37th convocation at the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Centre within the IGNOU Campus, New Delhi.
