ICSE (Class 10) students who appeared in Biology examination in Lucknow on Monday said the question paper was easy and straightforward and section A was easier than section B. Students found even the diagrams based questions to be easy and scoring.

The students of CMS Aliganj Lucknow said there was no tricky questions. Hasan and Shreyansh said they could finish the paper within the time limit and enough time was left for revision. “The questions were very well framed. Since it was the last paper and an easy one, it proved to be a cherry on the cake,” said Hasan.
Aishwarya, Rashmi and Danish said, “Our teacher had guided us throughout the year and so we were able to perform very well.” Their Biology teachers, Anju Venkatesh, Raina Singh and Saher Qamar said that the paper was a balanced one and the structure of questions was same as they had done in the class. They were confident that all the students will pass with flying colors. Most of the questions were set within the scope of the syllabus prescribed.
Principal Jyoti Kashyap was also very happy to see the overall positive response of the children and said that it was a motivating factor for both the students and teachers.
Students of St Teresa’s College, Aashiana, Sneha Yadav said that paper was very easy but Section B was lengthy. “I was able to complete the paper on time. But there was no time left for revision,” she said. Kritika Yadav said that the paper was pretty easy but lengthy and Section A was very scoring.
Priyanka Singh said the paper was scoring but Section B was little bit tough. Shipra Mishra said that paper was quite easy and she is expecting good marks. Ekta Singh said that before the exam she was apprehensive but as soon as she saw the paper, her fear disappeared. The paper was easy for those who had studied thoroughly.
Biology teacher at St Teresa’s College, Aashiana, Vivekanand Singh found the ICSE Examination 2019, Biology paper was moderate, students were satisfied after the examination. “It did require some thorough knowledge for scoring full marks. The paper was more or less what the students had expected. Most of the questions were similar as we had practice during revision. I am sure all the students will pass with good marks as they were well prepared with the topics,” Singh said.
Students of Hoerner College Dushyant Shukla, Shruti Mayur, Aman Singh and Arya Ratan Misra all said it was a very scoring paper and that those who did their practice papers and ten years series would have definitely breezed through the easy paper! Their teacher Nisha Srivastava at Hoerner College said that the Biology paper was easy. She said all questions were predictable and were well practised by the students.
