HPBOSE 10th Results 2019: Himachal Pradesh Board declares matric exam results, here’s how to check at hpbose.org

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) on Monday declared the result of Class 10 exams of the state board.

More than 1.22 lakh students had appeared for the HP board Class 10 exams, conducted by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) from March 7 to March 20, 2019. Of the total, 1,11,977 appeared in regular mode while 10,414 appeared through State Open School (SOS).

Board had set up total 1980 examination centres across the state for regular candidates. Around 10,000 employees will be engaged in the examination duties. To curb mass copying all the examination centers were equipped with close circuit Television (CCTV) cameras.

Last year, 109, 678 students appeared in Class 10 exams, out of which 68,946 passed with an overall pass percentage of 63.39%. The number of students who got compartment was 15,214.

The HP board declared the Class 12 board exam results recently.

Out of 95,492 students who appeared in the exam, 58,949 passed, which was a pass percentage of 62.01%. The number of students who have got compartment was 16,102.

Out of 49, 136 male candidates who appeared, 28,375 passed. Out of 45,784 female candidates, 30, 574 passed.

Girls performed better than boys in arts and commerce, while boys excelled in science.
