Haryana Board Results 2018: The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) declared the Class 12 board examinations result on Friday.
The Haryana Board Class 12 results were uploaded on the official website late on Friday evening. The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) had declared the Class 12 results in the afternoon.

A press conference by the BSEH chairman declared the name of the toppers and some other details. The results were expected to be on the official website by 5pm, but uploading it on the website is taking more time. Talking to Hindustan Times, Board chairperson Jagbir Singh had said that the results will be available on website by around 10 pm.
Earlier, Board PRO Meenakshi Sharda said “results are being uploaded, it is taking a bit longer than usual and will be available shortly on the website.”

The Class 12 examination was held from March 7 to April 2 this year in which 246,462 students appeared.
Last year, 64.5% students cleared the Class 12 exam, in which 250,000 - 119,626 boys and 92,655 girls appeared.
The education board registered 4,976 unfair means cases (UMC) during the Class 12 and Class 10 exams this year. The cases of cheating this year were slightly less than last year when the board caught 5,300 students cheating during the exams.
The Hindustan Times reported how students adopted innovative ways of cheating. A Class 12 Sikh student was caught hiding a Bluetooth device in his turban and a Class 10 student sneaked a mobile phone inside his cardboard.
The data by the board shows it relieved 108 supervisors of their duties this year over negligence in maintaining discipline at the exam centres. The board also shifted 28 exam centres and reconducted exams at 25 centres due to rampant cheating by students and negligence by officials.
BSEH chairperson Jagbir Singh said they received support from several panchayats in villages which prevented students from copying.
