Haryana Board Results 2018: The result of Class 10 board examinations, conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), was announced on May 21 at bseh.org.in. The result will be uploaded on the website by 5pm.

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) declared the Class 10 board examinations results on Monday, May 21. Here is the direct link to check your results.

At 51.15% passing rate, almost half of the students failed once again. As always, girls outshone boys. Pass percentage of female students is 55.34%, and that of boys is 47.61%.

Kartik of Nav Durga School, Jind, topped Class 10 exams with 99.6%. Celina Yadav, Saloni and Hari Om jointly secured the 2nd position with 99%.

Here’s how to check once it is uploaded on the website:

1) Log on to http://bseh.org.in/home.html

2) Click on the result tab

3) Click on the link for result

4) Enter your exam roll no or name

5) Click on Find Results

6) View your result and take a printout

Earlier, Haryana education minister, Ram Bilas Sharma, had said that the results will be uploaded on the official website, bseh.org.in, at 5pm.

The Class 10 exams, which started on March 8 and ended on March 30, were taken by 383,499 students. In 2017, 318,000 students, including 175,000 boys and 143,000 girls, appeared for the Class 10 exams and a little more than half or 50.49% were declared successful.

The education board registered 4,976 unfair means cases (UMC) during the Class 12 and Class 10 exams this year. The cases of cheating this year were slightly less than last year when the board caught 5,300 students cheating during the exams.

Haryana board declared the Class 12 results on Friday. Around 63.84% students passed the exam. The pass percentage dropped slightly from 64.50% last year. Naveen and Heena, of Hisar district, from Science stream topped the board exam, securing 491 marks out of the maximum 500. In the Commerce stream, Monika of Kaithal district topped with 484 marks, while Gurmeet of Jind district topped the Arts stream with 489 marks. Board officials said 2,22,388 students appeared in the Class 12 exam, of which 1,41,973 passed while 49,163 faced compartments. As always in Haryana board exams, this time too girl students outshined boys. The pass percentage of girl students was 72.38% while that of boys was 57.10%. Students of rural schools performed better than their urban counterparts with a pass percentage of 64.75%, two points higher than 62.04% in urban schools. The pass percentage of government schools and private schools was similar at 63.02% and 64.06% respectively.
