US-India connect: The Ivy League institution has attracted Indians for decades
Despite the influx of foreign universities in India and numerous countries trying their best to attract Indian students, Harvard University has always been a preferred choice for most Indian students willing to study abroad.

With more than 3,23,000 students from across 200 odd countries, Harvard University is known for its alumni reach.
The Harvard US India Initiative (HUII), a student-led-organisation was launched in 2011 to nurture cooperative alliances between youth from the United States and India.
It organises conferences for undergraduate students from different parts of the country to interact with industry experts from different sectors.
“We intend to bring together a diverse group of students to hear from working professionals who are striving to address some of India’s most pressing social, economic, and political issues,” says Udai Bothra, a student of Harvard University.
