IIT Roorkee has announced GATE 2025 results on the GOAPS portal.

GATE 2025 Result Live Updates: The Geology and Geophysics (GG) paper, apart from the General Aptitude (GA) section, consisted of two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A was mandatory for all the candidates. Part B had two sub-sections: Section 1 (Geology) and Section 2 (Geophysics). Candidates had to attempt questions in Part A and questions in either Section 1 or Section 2 of Part B.

GATE 2025 Result Live Updates: The Geomatics Engineering (GE) paper, apart from the General Aptitude (GA) section, had two parts: Part A (55 marks) and Part B (30 marks).

Part A - Engineering Mathematics and Basic Geomatics was compulsory for all the candidates.

Part B had two sections: Section I - Surveying and Mapping and Section II - Image Processing and Analysis.

Candidates had to attempt questions in Part A and questions in either Section I or Section II of Part B.

2. Comprehension: These questions tested the candidates' understanding of the basics of their field, by requiring them to draw simple conclusions from fundamental ideas.
3. Application: In these questions, the candidates were expected to apply their knowledge through computation or by logical reasoning.
4. Analysis and Synthesis: In these questions, the data, diagrams, images, etc., were provided to the candidates, and it required analysis before answering a question. A Synthesis question might have required the candidates to compare two or more pieces of information.
