CTET 2018: CBSE to hold CTET on September 16, apply online from June 22
CTET 2018: The online application process will start from June 22. The last date for submitting online application is July 19.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on September 16, 2018. The exam will be conducted in 92 cities across India.
The Information Bulletin listing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on the CTET official website from June 12.
Interested applicants are advised to download the bulletin and read it carefully before applying online. CTET aspirants will be able to apply online through CTET website .
The online application process will start from June 22. The last date for submitting online application is July 19. Applicants can submit the fee up to July 21 before 3.30pm.
The CTET exam has two papers. Paper I is for those interested in teaching classes 1 to 5. Paper II is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. In case an applicant wants to teach both levels, they will be required to sit for both paper I and II.
All questions in the CTET test are multiple choice questions. There is no negative marking.
