Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)

Incorrect answer: Minus one mark (-1).

Unanswered: No mark (0).

If more than one option is correct: Four marks (+4) to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

If all options are correct: Four marks (+4) to all those who have attempted the question.

If question is wrong/dropped: All candidates who have

appeared will be given four marks (+4).

NEET UG 2025 Live Updates: According to the information bulletin, the tentative result date for NEET UG 2025 is June 14. Before results, the NTA will release the answer key of the exam.

Mayank Kumar, 19 years old and appearing for NEET for the second time, echoed the popular opinion amongst NEET aspirants this year that the exam was more difficult than expected. "I found the physics paper especially tough," he shared, saying that his two friends who appeared for the exams alongside him had also had a hard time solving the paper. "Most of the people are not confident about all 180 marks of the Physics section," he said.

Abha Singh, 17 year old recent school graduate met up with her parents right outside her exam centre which was at Lucknow University, and sought them out amidst the massive crowd. "The paper was quite hard, but for my first attempt, I did not have high expectations of excelling with a great percentile." However, she said that she was expecting within the 50th-60th percentile, and will prepare better for next year's NEET. “The physics paper was hard, and most of my peers agree. But I also struggled a bit with the Chemistry section, as it is not my strong suit.”

Saurabh who had appeared for the exam at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19 said that the questions were very long and created a sense of fear in the first glance.

Another student, Deepak Singla also said that physics was quite hard but he was able to attempt the biology exam well as it was mostly from NCERT.

Kunal Singh who runs a city based coaching for NEET students said that last year’s physics exam was also mostly from NCERT but this time some questions were from JEE Main and even JEE Advance level. He added that the cutoff is likely to be lower this year.

The exam was conducted with extra precautions following the controversy surrounding the exam last year.
