CBSE CTET Sept 2016: OMR sheet, answer key released; check them here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the OMR sheets of the candidates and the answer key to the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination conducted on September 18.

Candidates who want to challenge any answer given in the key may do so by submitting their challenges online in the prescribed format by clicking the link available on . The last date for downloading OMR sheets and answer key and making a representation against answer key/keys is October 19 (midnight).

Challenges received online with valid documentary proof along with authentic source duly uploaded shall be examined by the board. The decision of the CBSE in the matter shall be final and binding.

Steps to download OMR sheet, answer keys and submission of key challenge

1) Go to CTET’s

2) Click on the link ‘Download of OMR Sheet, Answer Key and Submission of Key Challenge for CTET SEPT 2016’

3) Enter roll number and date of birth on the login page that opens

4) The OMR sheet and answer keys will be displayed

The CBSE said 6,53,156 candidates registered for the CTET exam conducted at 851 centres in 91 cities in India and abroad.

CTET scores apply to schools of the central government ( Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and those under the administrative control of Union territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.

These scores may also apply to those unaided private schools that may exercise the option of considering the CTET marks.

Schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the state government. However, if a state government decides not to conduct the state TET, it can also consider the CTET scores.
