How to check your results:

On the board’s results page, click on the appropriate link ‘CBSE-Class X Examination’ as applicable (Private candidate or open candidate).

Log in with your roll number and date of birth and your results will be displayed in India.

This year, 14,99,122 students, including 8,92,685 boys and 6,06,437 girls, from 15,309 schools registered for CBSE Class 10 examination. The pass percentage of Class 10 students in 2015 was 97.32 last year.

Students who opted for board-based scheme appeared for the examination between March 1 and March 28. Those who opted for school-based examination took the papers from March 10 onwards.

Number wise

Out of the 14,89,021 who appeared for the exams, 14,31,861 passed. Girls’ pass percentage is 96.36 while boys’ is 96.11.

Among the 10 regions of CBSE in the country, Delhi saw the highest number of student registrations in the examinations, followed by Panchkula and Ajmer regions at second and third places, respectively.

In the Delhi region, 2,91,371 students registered for Class 10 exams from 2,212 schools, excluding foreign schools. In Panchkula region, 2,26,353 Class 10 students were registered from 2,653 schools. In Ajmer region, 1,67,710 students registered from 1,917 schools.

The number of students, who registered for the examination in 2016, saw a jump from 2015 when 13,73,853 students registered, an increase of 9.12% this year.

Differently-abled students
There were 2,860 differently-abled students who registered this year. Depending on their abilities, the education board made special provisions to facilitate their appearance in the examination.

These provisions included granting extra time to students or allowing them to avail the help of a scribe or adult prompter.
