CBSE board results 2018: Class 12th, 10th results expected in a few days
A board official said last month the Class 12 economics retest on April 25 will not have any impact on the dates of the declaration of results.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the results of Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, which were marred by reports of an alleged leak of question papers, on its official website in the next few days.

However, the board has not given any date for its declaration yet.
A board official said last month the Class 12 economics retest on April 25 will not have any impact on the dates of the declaration of results. The board reconducted the economics exam after it was cancelled following reports of the question paper getting leaked.
“The retest was taken by a huge number of students but that will not cause any delay in the results as we already have all the arrangements in place to prepare the result on time. The Class 12 results will be announced in May last week but a date is yet to be finalised,” the official said.
Another official said that the board had engaged more evaluators this year so that they could declare results early.
Last year, CBSE Class 12 result was declared in the last week of May and the Class 10 result in June’s first week.
Around 28 lakh students registered to appear for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations this year.
More than 16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad. For Class 12, 11,86,306 candidates registered and the exams were held at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres outside the country.
Students can check their results on the official websites of the board: www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.results.nic.in after they are released.
This year, students will also be able to check their Class 10 and Class 12 exam results on Google.
“CBSE has partnered with Google for the first time to host the board’s Class 10 and Class 12 results on the search engine,” the board’s spokesperson Rama Sharma told Hindustan Times last week.
Students will be able to check their results on Google by searching for CBSE Class 10 or CBSE Class 12 result. They will have to key in the required details to login and check their results.
