CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 Live: Vidush Gupta, a Class 12 student from Shiv Nadar School, Noida said, “Most of the questions were directly from NCERT, but Section C required more time and careful thinking.”

Praneel Munshi, another student, added, “Some questions from Electrochemistry were tricky and different from what we had seen in past papers, which made them a bit challenging.”

Despite these few challenging moments, both students felt the paper was balanced and manageable for those who had prepared consistently.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 Live: Anshu Taneja, Educator Senior Years, Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad said, “The CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper was balanced and moderately difficult, featuring conceptual questions, numerical problems, and application-based scenarios. It was well-structured and aligned with the CBSE syllabus, emphasizing conceptual understanding over rote memorization.”

“The exam required deep comprehension, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to achieve high marks. While some students found the numerical problems in Physical Chemistry, challenging, others perceived the Organic Chemistry section as intricate, with questions that were not straightforward. Students who had thoroughly studied the textbook, consistently practiced questions, and developed a strong conceptual foundation could confidently approach the paper and navigate its challenges effectively,” Taneja added.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 Live: Manisha Pundir, Social Science Subject Coordinator at VidyaGyan School, Sitapur said, “The CBSE Social Science paper in Set 1 was well-balanced, with subjective questions being largely direct and straightforward. While objective questions were fair, some required precise conceptual understanding due to closely framed MCQ options. The map-based section focused on a few specific chapters, and the case-based questions aligned well with the CBSE sample paper for 2024-25.”

Richa Pandey, a student from VidyaGyan Sitapur, shared, “I particularly found the subjective question in Section D on the sustainability of development from Economics quite interesting. We had discussed the same topic in class, and a similar question appeared in our pre-board exam, which made me feel well-prepared and confident.”

Smita Patel, added, “A couple of MCQs were tricky since the options were very close, but overall, the paper was simple, with most questions being direct.”

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 Live: Khushi Mittal, a student of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad said, “The Chemistry Paper was moderate and based on NCERT. The numericals were straight forward. The definitions were more than expected. I found a problem in the case study.”

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 Live: Sarita Khokhar, HOD Chemistry at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad said, “The paper contained questions of varying difficulty levels, from easy to moderate. It was based entirely on the NCERT curriculum, making it easier for students who had thoroughly studied the NCERT textbook and solved practice questions to score high marks.”

She said, “From Section C, some Students found Electrochemistry (3 mark) questions challenging, which was based on theory. All sections were moderate in terms of difficulty level.”

“The case study-based question subpart (2 marks) had an error and students were confused because of that. Numerical calculations were simple and required little effort. The paper provided a well-balanced mix of understanding, application, and memory-based questions. Students were able to complete it within the allotted time, and are anticipating good marks,” Khokhar added.

Upma Gill, a student from Chandigarh said, "The exam was easy. Numericals were less this time, and there were a lot of theoretical questions. Numericals from inorganic and physical chemistry were fewer as compared to the previous paper. The paper was doable if one had practised well.”

Mansavi, another student from Chandigarh added, “I found the paper easy, organic chemistry was scoring, but I struggled with some Physical Chemistry numericals. I did the paper on time, though some of my batchmates needed some more time."

Simranpreet Kaur from Mohali said, "The paper was easier than last year’s, with direct questions from NCERT. I was well prepared as I had practiced the sample paper a lot, and it helped me in the examination; I didn't take much time to complete the paper.”

Harleen Sodhi, a student from Mohali added, “The paper followed the NCERT syllabus, but application-based questions were slightly challenging. Overall, it was a moderate paper."

Ayushi Sharma, a student from Chandigarh said, “The exam was easier than expected. Organic Chemistry was easier than expected, but the Physical Chemistry section had some unexpected questions. Overall, it was a moderate paper. I wish I had practised more numerical problems."

The MCQs and competency-based questions were also of average difficulty, ensuring a balanced assessment. Students finished the paper well in time and were satisfied with the level of the paper. Overall all the sets were easy.”
