Rain rejuvenates water harvesting structures in the Aravalli region

The recent rainfall in the region has rejuvenated water harvesting structures located at different places in the Aravallis of south Haryana. The structures have been constructed by the forest department to recharge the groundwater table and the plan is to store around 1 million gallon of water in them.

Gurgaon: Dumping of C&D waste continues in Aravallis

The forest department has urged Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) and the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) to follow orders laid down by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to check dumping of construction and demolition (C&D) waste in the Aravallis.

More water birds flock to Sultanpur this year

The number of water bird species flocking to Sultanpur National Park from foreign and domestic locations has doubled this year.
