One vaccine dose not enough against Delta variant? WHO alert amid 3rd wave worry

- Amid warnings aired by experts that a third Covid-19 wave may be looming on the horizon for India, the World Health Organisation said that two vaccine doses are needed for full-level protection against the Delta variant of the Sars-CoV-2 virus. The Delta variant was first seen in India, and has now spread to over 90 countries. It is more transmissible, i.e. infectious, and reduces the efficacy of vaccines. WHO's Maria Van Kerkhove said that individual level precautions continue to remain critical. Watch the full video for more.
