India calls-out W.H.O Covid death data at Geneva; conveys ‘disappointment’

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya expresses India's disappointment over W.H.O's Covid death report at World Health Assembly in Geneva. In his address, Mandaviya slammed the UN health body for ignoring India's concerns over the mortality figures. The Union Health Minister said that W.H.O ignored the authentic data by the regulatory body. Remember, the World Health Organisation in its report claimed that 47.4 lakh people had died due to Coronavirus in India which is nearly 10 times more than official data. As per the health ministry, total 5.4 lakh people have died because of Covid so far.
