Published on Feb 10, 2022 09:08 AM IST

In his exclusive interview to ANI just hours before 5 states vote in assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now clarified his statement in Parliament on the migrant crisis. Claiming that it was the states who first began imposing lockdown, PM Modi tore into opposition for creating fear among the migrants. He said that the nationwide lockdown was just an obligation as many states had already shut down. He added that if the opposition leaders in Maharashtra and Delhi hadn’t instigated the migrants then the situation could have been easily controlled. He said that provocation put pressure on the Centre and things went haywire. PM Modi reiterated that the COVID virus exists and changes its forms. He said that it was necessary to stay alert at all times as the situation is dynamic. Watch this video for more details.
