- The United States of America has reaffirmed its commitment to help India fight its way out of the Covid-19 pandemic. US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said that India will be in receipt of a share of those 80 million vaccines and through COVAX and added that there were some six million vaccines destined for the region. Price also said that the United States Government and the people here in the United States have committee nearly half a billion dollars have committed to help our friends and to help our partners in India recover from this pandemic.
