After viral crowd images, Manali issues Covid rules: ₹5,000 fine or 8-day jail

Covid-19 awareness drive was initiated in Himachal Pradesh after visuals of crowd thronging Manali went viral on social media. Himachal Pradesh has been witnessing a massive inflow of tourists. In photos that went viral, Mall road was seen overcrowded. This came after restrictions were eased on travel. Manali administration has imposed a fine of Rs. 5,000 or 8 days in jail for tourists found without face masks. Watch the full video for more.
