At least five high-power substations to come up in Gurugram soon

Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) officials announced that at least five high-capacity power substations will be built in Gurugram to improve the power supply infrastructure. The projects, worth ₹141 crore, will benefit Old Gurugram, sectors along Dwarka Expressway, and industrial areas. Two substations are already under construction, while three others are in the pipeline. The projects are expected to be completed soon and will help alleviate the power load in various areas.

HVPNL to commission three new power substations in Ggm soon

Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited will commission three new substations in Gurugram's Sector 46, Udyog Vihar and Manesar this year to minimize power outages and strengthen the power infrastructure. The combined worth of these three projects is estimated to be around ?100 crore. Another two substations are also scheduled to be constructed in Sector 37 and Sector 99 along the Dwarka Expressway.

Kingpin of gang that produced fake toll passes held at Gurugram-Delhi border

The suspect was identified as Satywart Kundu, of Titoli village in Rohtak district. He was arrested from Shankar Chowk on the Gurgaon-Delhi Expressway. The police said he was on his way to meet a lawyer when he was nabbed.

2,500 cops to manage 10 areas vulnerable to waterlogging

The areas identified by the Gurugram police are Vatika Chowk, Udyog Vihar, Palam Vihar, Narsinghpur, Sector 10, Sector 5, Bajghera Road, Golf Course extension road, Sector 71 and Sector 61, all of which witnessed heavy waterlogging and traffic jams on Thursday afternoon.
