Shilpa Shetty was born in Mangalore, Karnataka. She made her debut with the hit film Baazigar (1993) alongside Shah Rukh Khan, in a two-heroine film that also starred Kajol. In 2007, she participated in Big Brother and became the winner of the show. She got married to Raj Kundra in 2009. The film, Dhadkan marked the turning point in her life. She judged the reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She made a mark on the film industry with films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Indian, Rishtey, Phir Milenge, Apne and Dus to name a few and won awards for her remarkable performance.
