Haryana to organise two-day water conclave on April 26-27

The water conclave will provide a platform for policymakers to engage with experts and stakeholders, identify challenges, and formulate policies and strategies to address water-related issues effectively, said the chief secretary. It will be inaugurated by Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Auto rickshaw comes under wheels of truck in Gurugram, passenger killed

A man was killed in Sector 10’s Hayatpur village on Tuesday after the auto rickshaw he was travelling in allegedly collided with a goods carrier truck. Police said the auto rickshaw overturned upon impact and the victim allegedly died on the spot, while the auto driver sustained minor injuries.

Kin held for woman’s gang rape, murder in Meerut

After the body of a woman , missing since Wednesday, was recovered on Friday, police swung into action and arrested a relative for her kidnapping, gang rape and murder. The two associates of the accused are still at large and raids are being conducted to arrest them .
