Gurugram’s Iffco Chowk underpass reopens after 26 hours

Roads to both sides of Gurugram’s Iffco Chowk underpass cave in

The cave-in of the road surface, up to 100 metres on both sides, also damaged the extension joints of the concrete wall, which led to spillage of rainwater inside the structure, according to officials of the highways authority.

NHAI restricts heavy vehicles on Hero Honda flyover at night

Officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Tuesday said that they have stopped the movement of heavy trucks and multi-axle vehicles from 11pm to 5 am to prevent any further damage to the road surface.

The restriction on the movement of heavy vehicles began last week, said officials of the Millenium City Expressway Private Limited(MCEPL), which is the concessionaire for the highway.(HT Photo)

Experts examine damage to flyover in Gurugram

NHAI to start repair work on NH8 stretch from Kherki Daula to Kotputli in a week

UPRVUNL in a fix over disposal of tons of fly ash in Sonbhadra region

The Union ministry of road surface and highways is mounting pressure on UPRVUNL to make the fly ash available to the construction agencies for its use in the construction of roads, dams etc within 300 km radius of the thermal plants where the unutilised fly ash is dumped.
