Gurugram bus service extends three routes, increases fleet strength on each

With these new routes, the Gurugaman bus service has added approximately 22 kilometres of road network to its area of coverage, explained Arun Sharma, general manager, GMCBL.

The GMCBL will also be using its current surplus of 25 buses, which were put out of service after the discontinuation of Route 132 last month, to enhance fleet strength on these three modified routes, each of which will be allotted an additional five or six buses.(HT Photo)

Illegal structures demolished in Rithauj village, Bhondsi areas in Gurugram

Officials said that 16 under-construction houses, 13 unoccupied structures, 45 boundary walls and 30 plinths were demolished by the DTCP team in Kaka Nagar colony, which is being developed illegally in Rithauj.

E- charging points to be set up on Pune-Mumbai roads

This initiative was a part of the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME), the first phase of which was already launched and would be completed by end 2019.
