Illegal structures demolished in Rithauj village, Bhondsi areas in Gurugram
Officials said that 16 under-construction houses, 13 unoccupied structures, 45 boundary walls and 30 plinths were demolished by the DTCP team in Kaka Nagar colony, which is being developed illegally in Rithauj.
The enforcement wing of the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) on Wednesday carried out a demolition drive in Rithauj village where unauthorised structures were demolished with the assistance of a police team.

Officials said that 16 under-construction houses, 13 unoccupied structures, 45 boundary walls and 30 plinths were demolished by the DTCP team in Kaka Nagar colony, which is being developed illegally in Rithauj.
“We had received information that unauthorized construction was taking place in the area so demolition was carried out. Earlier also action was taken by the enforcement department in this colony. On Wednesday, we made it clear to plot owners that no construction would be allowed as this was an illegal colony,” district town planner (enforcement) Ved Prakash said.
The demolition was carried out with the help a large team from Bhondsi police station and reserve police battalions, said Prakash, who was also the duty magistrate for the operation.
Apart from Kaka Nagar, the enforcement team also carried out a demolition drive in an illegal colony coming up in Bhondsi where the road network was demolished.
