Till date, around 306,000 commercial vehicles got the RFID tags and documents for another 30,000 are being processed, only 429 transactions have been made suing online facilities.

EPCA extends RFID tag deadline for commercial vehicles to Aug 23
The decision to extend the deadline was taken after several transporters’ unions wrote to the Supreme Court-appointed Environment Pollution Control Authority (EPCA) and the south corporation seeking more time to buy the RFID tags.
