GBC 4.0: IT dept to ink deals worth ₹91,000 crore

Uttar Pradesh: 14,000 projects worth ₹10 lakh crore to be rolled out at fourth groundbreaking ceremony on February 19
The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is set to roll out ₹10 lakh crore worth of MoUs covering 14,000 projects, expected to create 33.50 lakh employment opportunities. This investment is five times greater than the cumulative investment of the previous three groundbreaking ceremonies. The event will take place on February 19 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

State signs MoUs worth ₹3.10 lakh crore in Davos
The state government of Maharashtra has signed MoUs worth over ₹3.10 lakh crore ($42.3 billion) with Indian and foreign companies at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The agreements are expected to bring in investments worth over ₹3.53 lakh crore ($48 billion). Among the investors is Belgium-based brewing company AB InBev, which will set up a unit in Maharashtra with an investment of ₹600 crore ($81.9 million). Adani Group has also announced plans to invest ₹50,000 crore ($6.8 billion) in the state over the next 10 years to set up a data centre powered by renewable energy.
