673 police station reviews received in one month via QR codes in Chandigarh

Haryana chief secretary asks DCs to identify policy gaps

Chief secretary TVSN Prasad said that attention should be drawn to policy shortcomings in order to work out modifications in the policy. In a communication, the chief secretary said that detailed documentation of such policy gaps was required to facilitate understanding and action.

Municipal officials said the app will help citizens to lodge their grievances/complaints and also avail of different services such as registration of births/deaths, applying for new water connections, applying for different licences given by the corporation, swift registrations of pets, and payment of property tax, among others

Himachal to launch ‘Project Sanjeevani’ for livestock healthcare

To provide quality veterinary services to the cattle rearers, the Himachal Pradesh government will launch Project Sanjeevani for livestock healthcare and cut expanses on travelling to the point of care and avail quality medicines, a government spokesperson said on Sunday.

Food security law: HC seeks action timeline

A bench of chief justice Rajendra Menon and justice AJ Bhambhani directed a senior officer from the Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department to appear before it on May 9.

The Delhi high court Friday expressed its dissatisfaction over the manner in which the Delhi government was dealing with a matter related to framing of rules for grievance redressal and accountability under the food security law and sought a timeline of action.

Delhi government sets upper age limit for entry to nursery, KG, class 1

According to the circular, DoE has fixed an upper age limit of 4, 5 and 6 years as on March 31, 2019, for admission in nursery, kindergarten (KG) and Class 1, respectively. The minimum age for admission in these classes is 3, 4 and 5 years as of March 31, 2019 respectively.
