Lok Sabha elections 2019: Girish Bapat clinches Pune LS seat

Retaining the seat for the BJP, Bapat, at the time of going to press, had polled 6,04,687 votes. His closest rival, the Congress’ Mohan Joshi had 2,94,839 votes, with one round still left to count.

No water cuts in city till June-end, says Bapat

Bapat said, “We have water to suffice only for May and June, and rains are expected in June. So, by considering this, there is no need to cut water supply till June-end.”

Accident @ Pune’s Bajirao road: Eyewitness says man’s body was at spot for more than an hour

State approves police commissionerate for Pimpri-Chinchwad,a satellite city near Pune

Pune guardian minister Girish Bapat said that the police commissionerate will have total 15 police stations of which 10 are from the city while the rest of the five will be added from rural areas of Pune district.
