Asian Games 2018, Day 9 as it happened: PV Sindhu, Neeraj Chopra bag top honours on eventful day for India

Neeraj Chopra was at his absolute best as he bagged gold in javelin throw. Also, athletes Sudha Singh, Dharun Ayyasamy, and Neena Varakil added 3 silver medals.PV Sindhu entered the finals of the women’s singles badminton event on Day 9 of the Asian Games 2018 even as Saina Nehwal got a bronze medal after losing in straight games to Tai Tzu Ying. Hockey has been a delight to watch at the games and Indian women beat Thailand in their last Pool B game to enter the semi-finals. Day 8 of the Asian Games 2018 was a good one for India Hima Das, Muhammed Anas and Dutee Chand all won silver in their respective events. Neeraj Chopra, India’s flag bearer for the event will be in action in Javelin and so will be Shivpal Singh later today.
