Chandigarh: Police nab two theft accused

Police have arrested two individuals for multiple theft cases, including one house theft and one motor vehicle theft. Stolen items, including gas cylinders and a motorcycle, were recovered from their possession. The accused confessed to the crimes and stated that they committed thefts to support their drug addiction.

India-Nepal launch construction of 3rd integrated check post to boost trade

Commerce minister Piyush Goyal and Nepal’s urban development minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction of the ICP, which will smoothen cross-border movement of cargo trucks by bringing customs and immigration facilities under one roof.

Solapur traffic constable mowed down by truck driver who was fleeing after an accident; driver arrested after chase

The driver, who was trying to flee with the vehicle, was arrested by police officials while he was going towards Pune. The police succeeded in tracking down the truck around five kilometers from the accident spot.
