Chandigarh: Duo who scammed retd Col of 3 crore lands in net

The arrested scammers were identified as Mehak Yadav, 25, from Narnaul, Haryana, and Sachin Sharma, 23, from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan

Assault on Col: HC hands over probe to UT police

The HC bench of justice HS Brar ordered that the Chandigarh director general of police (DGP) would entrust the probe to an IPS officer, posted in UT and belonging to the AGMUT cadre, within a week. Chandigarh Police bust two international drug peddling gangs, 4 held

Police investigations revealed that the gang was linked to the ISI and was involved in sending drug money to Pakistan through hawala channels. Approximately 297.40-gram heroin, one country made pistol, ₹5,200 drug money, one Swift car, a drug weighing machine, and 100 cocaine crack balls (47.10 gram) has been recovered from their possession.
