Anupriya targets Akhilesh on Apna Dal’s foundation day

Union minister Anupriya Patel accused Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav of dividing Apna Dal and reiterated her demands for a caste census and a separate ministry for the welfare of backward castes. She praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in supporting dalits and backwards. Patel also highlighted the steps taken by the BJP government to empower backward classes, such as naming a medical college after Apna Dal founder Dr Sonelal Patel and implementing OBC reservation in NEET exams. She called for greater representation of OBCs and dalits in the judiciary.
