Homemaker, store owner lose 38L to digital arrest fraud

In two separate cases reported from Andheri, cyber frauds impersonating as CBI and police officers extorted ₹38 lakh from a 58-year-old homemaker and a 60-year-old medical store owner, using the ‘digital arrest’ modus operandi.

22-year-old motorcyclist dies from injuries after Andheri gas pipeline fire triggered by leak

In a statement, MGL attributed the incident to “JCB impact during unauthorised, uncontrolled digging,” which led to a gas leak in the supply pipeline running through the middle of the road

Road work damages gas pipeline in Andheri East, starts fire

The incident occurred at 12.35 am on Sunday near Sher-e-Punjab colony in Andheri East. The vehicles that caught fire were two-wheelers belonging to Arvindkumar Kathial, 21, and Aman Saroj, 22. Kathial sustained 30-40% burns, while Saroj suffered 40-50% injuries
