7:14 PM IST Sam Billings did show some fight with a quickfire 43, smashing a couple of big sixes to briefly lift Lahore's hopes. But the asking rate kept rising, and his dismissal only made things worse. A questionable move from the Qalandars’ camp was sending Sikandar Raza so late in the order, even after Rishad Hossain. Raza looked in good touch and stayed till the end, playing some few beautiful shots to at least reduce the margin of defeat, an effort that might be crucial when NRR comes into play later in the tournament. He deserves credit for that gritty knock of fifty under pressure.

7:13 PM IST The skipper of Multan Sultans, Mohammad Rizwan, says that in their previous matches, they didn't field well, but today they were brilliant. Tells they executed their bowling today, which they lacked in the previous matches. Shares they carried the momentum today with the bat, Usman Khan did the job to carry on the intent, which was much needed. Reckons their bowling department is a bit inexperienced and that's why he tries to stay around them, and he didn't do the keeping because of that.
