The South Africans go up in unison for the caught behind but the umpire says no! Temba Bavuma, who is far away from the action is pushed to take the review and he does go upstairs. This is tossed up on a length by Keshav Maharaj and outside off as well. Glenn Maxwell goes for the reverse sweep but plays over the ball and gets beaten on the under edge. The replays roll in and it seems close to the glove but UltraEdge shows a flat line and that is an excellent decision by the onfield umpire.

OUT! LBW! Another big shout from Tabraiz Shamsi for LBW and this time the finger is raised. Marnus Labuschagne has reviewed it but this one looks pretty straight. Shamsi tosses this one up around off stump, not too full and Labuschagne looks for the reverse sweep. Labuschagne is beaten on the flight and the ball spins in to ping him on the pads. There's nothing on UltraEdge and Ball Tracking shows that the ball is clipping leg stump. Shamsi is all pumped up and Labuschagne has thrown his wicket away after all the hard work. South Africa with a narrow opening here.

OUT! TIMBER! Aiden Markram strikes on the very first ball and the crowd comes alive at Eden Gardens. Starts from around the wicket and angles it in a lot fuller onto middle, trying to turn it away. David Warner looks to use the depth of the crease and hammer it through the off side but plays all around it and the ball just deviates a touch to beat the bat and crash into the stumps. Markram is pumped up and South Africa have their first wicket as Warner departs after a quick start.

SIX! A third maximum of the over and 21 runs come off it! Kagiso Rabada has been taken apart here. Pitches this one up on leg stump but misses the yorker by a fair few inches, Travis Head clears the front leg and dumps this one over deep mid-wicket for a biggie.
