Currently, the airport offers only two international flights -- to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Until 2023, there was a direct flight to Sharjah. Mohali court acquits gangsters Dilpreet Baba, Sukhpreet Buddha in Gippy Grewal extortion case

Dilpreet Baba had allegedly threatened Gippy Grewal, saying he would meet the same fate as slain singer Amar Singh Chamkila and Punjabi singer Parmish Verma, who had been attacked by gangsters.
