Public bodies’ meet in April to discuss Sikandarpur-NH8-Manesar metro

Representatives of public bodies concerned will meet at the civil secretariat in Chandigarh in April to discuss the development, public-private partnership model and designate metro stations on the Sikandarpur Metro Station to NH-8, metro link proposed in Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex 2031 (also called Gurgaon Master Plan).

Gurgaon betters position in Swachh survey, comes in at 37

Gurgaon has been ranked 37 in terms of cleanliness in the list of 73 cities surveyed as part of Swachh Sarvekshan 2016. Last year it was ranked 466 out of the 476 cities surveyed.

Global stalls make heads turn at Surajkund crafts fair

The international flavour at the annual Surajkund crafts mela is growing stronger with every passing year. This year, organisers Haryana Tourism said, over 23 countries have put up their stalls at one of the biggest crafts fair in the world.
